DIS requires all Copenhagen students to use the DSB app for transportation tickets. The app will allow you to purchase and use tickets across public transportation options throughout Denmark so that DIS will be invoiced for the following:
Your single tickets on public transportation to:
- The Copenhagen Airport or Central Station when traveling for Study Tour
- Field Studies
- Practicums, external university courses, or other courses held offsite from DIS
- All activities officially hosted by DIS, including academic and social events
DIS will also provide transportation stipends for the following:
- Students living in a Homestay: You will receive an additional 400 DKK to visit friends in their local Homestay network
- Students in the Visiting Host Program: DIS will subsidize your transportation costs, covering up to four return trips to your Visiting Hosts using public transport (with a cap at 400 DKK).
Before your semester begins, DIS will send you information about downloading the DSB app so that you can get started.
Note: DIS does not reimburse expenses related to travel covered by DIS if you fail to follow the proper invoicing procedure, which is outlined in the transportation email sent out before the semester start. If you are experiencing issues with the DSB app, it is your responsibility to reach out to the DIS Student Hub (studenthub@dis.dk) for support.
