DIS encourages you to apply as early as possible, as DIS often reaches capacity before published deadlines.
- April 1 for all summer sessions
- April 1 for fall semester and full-year
- November 1 for spring semester
Applications must be complete to be reviewed for admission. This means that transcripts, home institution approvals, letters of recommendation, and application fees must all be received in a timely manner. It is your responsibility to ensure the arrival of all application materials.
All DIS core courses have limited space; therefore, we encourage you to list a second program priority on your application. If your first-choice program is not available, you will automatically be considered for your second priority.
All students will need to have a passport that is valid for at least six months after the program ends. If you do not, you are encouraged to apply for one as soon as possible and even before you complete the DIS application.
Note: Be sure to meet with your university’s study abroad advisors as deadlines and process vary by institution.
If you are unsure of who to contact at your home university, no problem – fill out the DIS Get Started Form and we’ll direct you to the right person.
