DIS International Career Resources

As a DIS student, you will build cross-cultural leadership and communication skills by meeting local business people and working on projects for Danish businesses. These opportunities help prepare you to work in a globalized world. How do you articulate these experiences in a professional manner for your future career? DIS Career Resources is here to help!

DIS Internship and Resume Building Workshops

DIS Career Resources offer events to help you prepare for the future after graduation. The workshops include:

  • International Career Panel – Speakers come to provide perspectives on working in intercultural environments and advice on how to land a job overseas and relocate
  • Meet the Professionals – Meet a panel of personal branding experts, recruiters, and finance professionals to discuss and receive feedback on your ability to articulate your study abroad experience at a job interview

Watch for newsletters and posters around DIS for dates and sign up information. Find DIS career-building workshop events in the DIS Navigate app, which you will gain access to before the start of your semester.

The Young Professionals Network

The American-Danish Business Council (ADBC) now offers members the opportunity to join its Young Professionals Network for young students and professionals interested in fostering relations and increasing trade between the U.S. and Denmark. The network is dedicated to giving young leaders the opportunity to socialize, exchange ideas, share common interests, and grow professionally. Members are given the opportunity to participate in various events, meet new friends, and extend their network. Furthermore, Young Professionals also have access to some of ADBC’s regular member events.
