December 9, Archived Alert Related to COVID-19 (New Restrictions in Place)

December 9, 2021

Due to the rising numbers of positive COVID-19 cases, the Danish parliament has agreed to introduce the following new restrictions, as of Friday, December 10, at 4:00pm:

  • Face masks must be worn at restaurants, bars, and cafes when standing (once seated, you can remove your mask)
  • Bars, restaurants, and nightclubs will be required to close at midnight, and alcohol sales will not be allowed after midnight.
  • Concerts of more than 50 people who are standing are banned. Concerns where people are seated are not impacted.

You can read more about yesterday’s press conference and these new restrictions in The Local article.
