Sustainable development is one of the most important challenges of our time. The 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals provide an essential framework to identify sustainable solution opportunities. This course explores key societal challenges and themes, as well as strategies for promoting a more sustainable future. We analyze a range of local cases including renewable energy, waste management, and sustainable food systems, as well as emerging models like circular economy and green urban initiatives.
