This is an interdisciplinary course, which alternates between scales of public space and street design to urban policy and planning. It aims to equip you with a foundation of critical thinking and engagement in the creation of livable cities. Using Copenhagen as a laboratory, we explore urban livability through three lenses: theory, practice, and implementation. We look at what shapes our parameters for well-being, and the spatial and policy mechanisms for fostering urban livability.
