European Study Abroad Security Think Tank

September 10 – 12, 2017

DIS welcomes invited education abroad professionals both in the U.S. and Europe to the first annual European Study Abroad Security Think Tank at our DIS Copenhagen location.

The Think Tank is an exciting opportunity to explore the changing realities and perceptions related to the security landscape in Europe. Participants will move beyond the ordinary health, safety, and security conversations and explore creative approaches in partnership with European professionals in related fields such a psychology, law, terrorism studies, and sociology. This is the start of an ongoing dialog that DIS is committed to supporting. Think Tank participants will help DIS to shape the future of this conversation by making recommendations for future initiatives including possible research projects, white papers, future think tanks, and more.
