In the context of the new publication, Utzonia: From/To Denmark With Love, Angela Gigliotti worked with students in her DIS course Detailing and Sustainability in Scandinavian Architecture on a series of building drawings. The book will be presented via Zoom, as part of Southern Sweden Design Days — and many of Angela’s contributing former students will present building cases.
Utzonia: From/To Denmark With Love aims at contributing to contemporary investigations and discussions around Nordic perspectives. It is a critical study concerning architectural history and theory and the significance of the legacy by the Danish architect Jørn Utzon (1918-2008).
Angela Gigliotti has been a treasured faculty member at DIS since 2016, and DIS has helped fund the publishing of this important work.
