Carleton College Students Have Arrived at DIS

DIS DIS Copenhagen Semester

DIS is very excited to welcome 53 Carleton College students to DIS Copenhagen this fall! The students are enrolled in a 10-week program that will conclude on December 9. They arrived this weekend, and, following a mandatory testing and self-isolation, will soon get to start exploring their new city.

DIS has worked in close collaboration with Carleton to ensure the best and safest experience for students, faculty, staff, and the local community. Each student has picked four DIS courses from a range of disciplines including pre-health, psychology, computer science, and the liberal arts, and they will reside in Homestays or at DIS-owned Mønten Kollegium. Classes and Field Studies will be held in person, with distancing and sanitation protocols in place following local public health guidelines.

Over the next few months, the students can look forward to exploring different parts of Denmark on their Core Course Study Tour as well as a non-academic DIScovery tour. In order to maintain the well-being of the community, the students will not be allowed to travel outside of Denmark.

DIS looks forward to getting to know the students from Carleton, and to delivering an exciting and engaging academic program this fall.
