New Core Courses
Two new Core Courses in our Computer Science and Neuroscience Programs will begin in spring 2025 and fall 2025.
The popular elective course will become a Core Course, and students will explore the similarities and differences between these related emotions.

DIS lab and research opportunities
Students can gain international lab experience or join an engaged community of scholars across various disciplines to collaborate on their research project as a Research Assistant. Enrollment is competitive and requires an additional application during registration with DIS. Some prerequisites may apply.
Beginning in fall 2025, we have expanded our course offerings in Data Science. This new program includes a Core Course, as well as several new and existing elective courses featuring Data Science as a discipline.

Our summer structure remains the same after the changes made before summer 2024, so that all of our summer sessions are either three weeks long with a three-credit course or six weeks long with a six-credit course.
Your students can choose from courses across 6 sessions, 2 locations, and over 60 disciplines. They can stay for one session or combine sessions, earning up to 9 credits throughout the summer with DIS.
Study Tours remain included in all courses falling under Session 2, Furniture Design Sessions, and the Architecture & Design Session, plus select courses in other sessions.
