Muscles in Motion: Exercise Science (DIS Copenhagen)
Examine how muscle physiology and neuromuscular function shape performance and adaptation to training. Learn how muscles produce force, respond to training, fatigue, recover, and adapt in people with varying exercise backgrounds and fitness levels. This will be the signature Core Course for our new Sports Science program.

Data Engineering (DIS Stockholm)
Data Analytics (focusing on analyzing and interpreting data) will run through Spring 2027, and beginning in Fall 2027, it will be replaced with Data Engineering (focus on building and maintaining the systems that make analysis possible).
Data powers today’s digital world, from social media and streaming platforms to AI systems and smart cities. In Data Engineering, raw data is transformed into reliable, scalable, and intelligent systems that drive modern applications. Students will learn how to collect, process, store, and analyze massive amounts of data using industry-standard tools and real-world workflows.

Ecopsychology: Nature and Self (DIS Copenhagen)
Ecopsychology seeks to explore how modern psychological and capitalistic discourses have fragmented individual and social connections from the natural environment. Experiential and multidisciplinary academic approaches are used to understand how human beings (dis)connect from our natural environments and identify opportunities for individual and community change.
This is offered as an additional Core Course option within our Psychology program.

Europe and the Holocaust (DIS Stockholm)
The Second World War transformed societies across Europe, exposing millions of people to occupation, persecution, displacement, mass violence, and genocide. This course examines the Holocaust within these wider wartime conditions and considers the many actors who shaped its course across Europe.
