About this course
This course explores the transformative role of artificial intelligence in healthcare. You will examine current and emerging applications of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in research, diagnostic and treatment processes to improve patient care. The course also investigates AI’s administrative potential to reduce provider burdens related to paperwork and patient record management. In addition, you will critically engage with the ethical implications of AI adoption, including issues of privacy, data security, and patient safety. Through case studies and discussion, you will develop a nuanced understanding of both the opportunities and challenges AI presents for healthcare.
