DIS students must meet the following requirements:

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Completed at least two semesters at a four-year college or university in the U.S. or Canada by the time you participate
Good academic and disciplinary standing
Satisfy Core Course prerequisites on our website

Frequently asked questions

: You will submit personal information, Core Course preferences (for semester students), academic statements, a transcript, and home institution approval. It is your responsibility to ensure the arrival of all application materials by the application deadline.

: For semester applicants, Core Courses have limited space; therefore, we encourage you to list a second Core Course priority on your application. If your first-choice is not available, you will automatically be considered for your second priority.

: All students will need to have a passport that is valid for at least six months after the program ends. If you do not, you are encouraged to apply for one as soon as possible and even before you complete the DIS application.

: Once you have been admitted to DIS, you will get access to Student Registration where you can register for courses, Study Tours, housing, and more.

: Students can study with us for a semester, summer, or a full academic year.
