Explore Copenhagen’s contemporary art scene as you gain insight into curation, art appreciation, and arts management. Get first-hand perspectives on the art world through engaging conversations with curators, artists, gallerists, collectors, and other art professionals, both in class and through visits to art institutions and galleries. Together with your fellow students, you put these new skills into practice by analyzing current exhibitions and developing an exhibition proposal as your final project.

This course was originally called Curating in Europe. Starting in Spring 2027, the course title will be Curating Today: Artists, Exhibitions, and Audiences.
