About this course

A digitalized world calls for digitalized research methods. In this lab, students will explore and try their hand at psychological research that utilizes the methodological tools of Cyberpsychology. We will review scholarly research exploring online phenomena and special considerations for technology-based research. Students will have the opportunity to conduct original research using techniques such as:

  • Virtual and Augmented Reality environments (and their function for research and treatment purposes)
  • Web and app-based experimental methods
  • Cyber ethnography of online communities
  • Meme and trend analysis on social media
  • Integrating physiological measures and digital environments

M.A. in Clinical Psychology (Lomonosov Moscow State University, 2011). Jungian Analytical Psychotherapy education (Moscow Association for Analytical Psychology, 2012). Worked as a clinical psychologist in various institutions and taught as an external lecturer at “The Higher School of Psychology” in Psychoanalysis and Developmental Psychology. In Denmark since 2015. I work with children, adolescents and adults, conducting individual and group therapy in private practice and as a volunteer in NEFOS.
