Waste Management Systems in Europe

About this course

This course looks at current practice and policy on waste and reevaluates the need for creating waste in modern societies. With an increase in resource scarcity, there is a need to create waste management systems and technologies that help societies limit their impact on Earth. This class provides an overview of the current EU and Danish policy agendas and the skills to examine leading and new Danish and European waste technologies.
