About this course
Climate change is happening right now, and so is the debate about how to act. The aim of this course is to provide those from a non-science background with a basic understanding of the climate system and climate science. It provides you with a strong foundation to navigate the climate information that is constantly presented to us in the media and public debate. The questions that are addressed in this course include: What is the climate system? What can make climate change? How do we know about past climate change and how do the current changes compare to those of the past? What tools are used to make projections of future climate and how reliable are those projections?
