About this course

Use your camera as a passport for opening doors and as your tool to explore and understand the cultures, people, and places you encounter abroad. In this course, you will learn to research and tell your own individual stories with photography. Through workshops and excursions outside the classroom, you will practice and develop the skills to dive into different cultures and use your camera as a medium for understanding a community and telling their stories through photographs.

I am a Stockholm-based travel writer and photographer who contributes to publications such as National Geographic Traveller, BBC,  Adventure Magazine, The Guardian, Lonely Planet, Travel + Leisure,  Forbes, and many more. In addition to contributing to several travel books, I am the author of the following books – 2018 Lowell Thomas Award winner for best travel book, DUE NORTH , & bestselling LAGOM: Swedish Secret of Living Well .
