About this course

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 marked a new turning point for the EU. This course seeks to grasp the new security developments in Europe, focusing on the Baltic Sea Region states, and especially on the Nordics (Denmark, Finland, Sweden) and the Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania). It aims at explaining their concerns and picturing implications that Russia’s aggressive foreign policy has on their domestic and foreign policies, both on strictly regional and wider international level (EU, NATO).
