This studio focuses on interior architectural design in a Danish context and developing a concept and project design within an existing structure. You create a design concept shaping interior space and user experience. Adaptive reuse and transformation features are among the prioritized challenges in which you engage. Studio groups combine students of different levels and backgrounds. This course is taught vertically, and expectations relate to you as an individual student.

Frederikke Aagaard

Architect MAA (Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen, 2004), Bsc Architecture (Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, London, 2000). Has worked as architect, designer, TV presenter, podcaster, author, lecturer and curator. Founding Partner and Creative Director of Together Architecture, a design consultancy focusing on creating psychologically and environmentally sustainable interior solutions. Has been contributing to DIS as a guest reviewer for a number of years. With DIS since 2022.
