Child Development & Diversity

Child Development & Diversity

Scandinavia is known as one of the most progressive places for raising children to be competent, independent, democratic, and social beings.

Take on a cross-cultural approach to working with children and youth, and see for yourself how different cultures and pedagogical approaches conceptualize neurodivergence, understand the value of "play," and take on the critical task of raising their next generations within an increasingly diverse European population.

Through a combination of academic theory, hands-on experience in nurseries, preschools, and public schools, and visits to local experts on Study Tours, you will gain new perspectives on child development and education.

This program is a good fit if you study:

  • Child Development
  • Education/Educational Studies
  • Human Development
