Additional insurance needs
We encourage you to consider your individual insurance needs. Review Europæiske’s insurance (including any coverage mandated by your home university) and consider purchasing additional coverage if needed.
If you plan to travel outside the U.S. before and/or after your program, we recommend that you purchase additional travel insurance as Europæiske will not cover incidents outside of the program dates nor incidents in the U.S.
If you are participating in consecutive DIS programs and not returning to the U.S. in between, the insurance will cover you for the days between DIS programs. There will be no coverage between non-consecutive programs or while you are in the U.S.
