About this course
The surge in polarization and populism is the most important political development of the 21st century. What are the major causes of the increase in polarization and populism? What are the likely consequences of these developments? What can be done to mitigate the risks to our social and political order? Address these issues from a comparative perspective to understand the main similarities and differences between the U.S. and selected nations in the European Union.
