About this course

This intensive course covers two semesters of Danish language content in one, making it an excellent option for students who wish to advance quickly in their knowledge of the language. Through memorizing, practicing, repetition, automation, and constant reinforcement, you learn to master everyday Danish. Emphasis is on pronunciation, grammatical structures, speaking, reading, and writing. Texts on Danish literature, history, society, and politics are part of the curriculum and, together with your personal experiences, are the foundations of Field Studies, assignments, and discussions in class.

Faculty

Mika Sun Black holds a Master of Arts in Danish with elective studies in Education from Copenhagen University. In addition, she has completed a Master’s Programme in Teaching Danish as a Second and Foreign Language to Adults and Adolescents. Furthermore, she has published two educational books about Danish grammar.
