This course takes departure in Scandinavian pedagogy and teaching methods with specific emphasis on Danish public school classrooms, and analysis of current social policies within education and learning models. By drawing on current Scandinavian research, this class addresses questions such as: What factors in and outside the classroom seem to influence student achievement and well-being? What strategies or techniques should be present in classroom settings? How are teachers prepared to meet these challenges?
