About this course
Epigenetic modifications are one of the main mechanisms underlying the phenomenon by which organisms alter gene expression and phenotypic characteristics in response to environmental conditions. This course will cover basic concepts of epigenetics as well as detailed concepts how epigenetics control and influence human development as well as how epigenetic alterations can cause various diseases such as for example cancer, metabolic disorders, and neurological conditions.
