Life at DIS

Abroad, right where you belong

Just like at your home school, DIS students learn in and outside the classroom.

You learn when you have a conversation with your Homestay family over dinner, when you share your experiences and background with local students, and when you practice a hobby in a new cultural context.

At DIS, you have access to dedicated Student Life staff who will introduce you to your new city, connect you with local clubs and organizations, and help you get to know your fellow classmates, who represent more than 70 nationalities and come from over 200 schools.

Explore the opportunities for community in each location and learn how you will find your space somewhere new.

Life at DIS

Student life in each city

Each city hosts a Student Hub that serves as a home base for student life. Here, you can study, relax, and meet friends.

DIS staff are ready to answer your questions, point you to useful resources, and help you find ways to connect with fellow DIS students and local communities.

Study alongside local students of the Swedish Royal College of Music and take classes just few steps away from the Stockholm Olympic Stadium.

DIS Stockholm is located in a modern, award-winning building, and you will make your daily commute through the iconic, art-filled Tunnelbana metro system.

Your classes and the Student Hub are located among various corridors within the building, making it easy to bump into friends between classes, study in the Student Hub, or grab lunch at the canteen downstairs.

The Stockholm Student Hub is filled with places to read and study, various games and relaxation materials, and regular events hosted by DIS staff.

DIS Copenhagen is located in the heart of the old, inner city.

Your classrooms are spread across several classic Danish buildings, so you will cross cobblestone streets and cozy cafés as you walk between classes and the Student Hub.

The Copenhagen Student Hub has a large stock of books and other learning resources for you to borrow, as well as loads of different study spaces.

It also houses its own small cinema, whiteboards for group work, and is home to events like open-mic nights, knitting clubs, and more.

More ways to find your place abroad
