Get placed with intention

The DIS housing team carefully reviews each housing application to match you with an environment that aligns with your unique needs and set you up for success. We consider factors like your daily routines, cleanliness preferences, interests, gender identity, your hopes for your time abroad, as well as any accommodations for religion and/or disability.

Before you arrive, we’ll also connect you with your roommate(s) or Homestay hosts for semester students, so that you can start building connections before arrival.

Master your commute with ease

DIS housing is located across various neighborhoods and suburbs, making you part of a local community—not just a study-abroad bubble. With a few exceptions who live within walking distance, most students commute to class everyday using public transportation covered by DIS.

Both Stockholm and Copenhagen are renowned for their efficient public transportation. As soon as you arrive, you’ll have everything you need to explore your new city smoothly and confidently.
