What is summer in Scandinavia like?
With the long summer days with seemingly endless sunlight, Scandinavian summers are one of a kind. Every summer, a group of dedicated Summer Writers report directly from Stockholm and Copenhagen. From first impressions to their return home, the Summer Writers share their cross-cultural, academic, and local experiences with you.

How do I build my summer abroad with DIS?
Create a dynamic summer around the DIS calendar. The DIS summer sessions vary in length, with different start and end dates – you can choose which courses and sessions are best suited to your academic goals.

There are three, four, or seven-week sessions, and you can combine sessions to stay from 6 to 10 weeks in Stockholm, Copenhagen, or both!

Are there scholarships available?
Yes! DIS offers need and merit-based awards and is committed to supporting students with limited financial resources, from diverse backgrounds, and/or underrepresented populations in study abroad. On average, over 50% of all students receive financial support from DIS.
