This course begins by illustrating the cause and effects of fear on an anatomical and functional level, followed by demonstrating the physiological, psychological, and evolutionary aspects. Several theories and concepts behind unconsciousness, perception, and emotion are introduced in order to facilitate discussions covering fear in everyday life, as well as fear as a component of dysfunctional behaviors.
