About this tour
The Baltic nations are on the front line of the complex security challenge that pits a divided NATO against a resurgent Russia. After regaining independence in 1991, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania have undergone a remarkable transformation from the communist to the Liberal world order. But today – despite the ostensible security provided by membership in both the European Union and the NATO military alliance – these nations are working vigorously to ensure they are prepared for the potential threat of conventional warfare and the ongoing challenge of cyberwar.
