About this tour
Alongside a two-day seminar in Stockholm, the short study tour to Gotland is designed to give you a nuanced understanding of how classroom theories can apply to the real-world context of our psychological understanding of food and culinary culture. You will experience and analyze the unique features of the Swedish socio-cultural model, and how it can fit into the psychology of food.
The Core Course Week program is supplemented with visits and activities to help you gain a more well-rounded understanding of the communities in which you study. Some activities include touring museums, visiting historic sites, and sampling traditional Swedish cuisine.
