November 11, Archived Alert Related to COVID-19 (Update on Coronapas Use)

November 11, 2021

The numbers of positive COVID-19 cases have been rising in Denmark lately. In order to prevent an escalation in positive cases and hospitalizations, the Danish government has decided to re-instate the Coronapas as of November 12 at 6:00am, and for the next 4 weeks.

Everyone will be required to show a Coronapas for entrance to restaurants, bars, clubs, museums, movie theaters, etc. The Coronapas will also be required at all events with more than 200 people indoors and more than 2,000 people outdoors.

As DIS students, you have 3 ways of showing a Coronapas:

  • You can use your CDC vaccination card
  • If you have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 6 months, your documentation of this can be used as a Coronapas
  • You can show a negative COVID test. PCR tests are valid for 96 hours, rapid tests are valid for 72 hours

You can get a PCR test at any of the test centers listed on the Region Hovedstaden website (text is in Danish only). Click on ‘Store teststeder, PCR-test’ (large test centers) or ‘Mindre teststeder, PCR-test’ (smaller test centers) to see a list of centers.

You can get a rapid test at any of the centers listed on the CPH Med website.

All tests are free and you do not need to book an appointment.

Feel free to stop by the Student Hub or contact the DIS Care team at care@dis.dk with any questions regarding these new guidelines.

Note: A list of recommended testing centers will be sent to students via email, due to changing locations and opening hours, the recommended testing centers will not be listed on the DIS website.
