Students at Pratt Institute Hold Exhibition to Showcase DIS Summer Projects

After studying abroad with DIS for Summer Session 4: Architecture & Design, students at the Pratt Institute held an exhibit to share their final projects.

DIS DIS Summer

During summer 2017, 36 Pratt students attended DIS, spanning all disciplines — from furniture to graphic design, urban design, interior architecture, and architecture.

The event is held at the Juliana Curran Teria Design Center, Pratt Institute, and is organized and driven by students. Friends, professors, and fellow classmates come to the exhibition to admire studio projects made by Pratt students taking part in the Summer Session at DIS in Copenhagen. During the exhibition, students, Anna Kallen Talley (Graphic Design) and Alicia Tagliasacchi (Furniture Design), also received awards from DIS, highlighting their hard work and engagement in the studio work.

DIS Director of Architecture & Design, Furniture Design, and Graphic Design Programs, Henning Thomsen, was also in attendance. He applauded the event, saying, “Pratt Institute has a special place in our heart, dedicated students and great faculty that have supported our program in Copenhagen for decades. Seeing this student-driven exhibition is always a true joy.”
