Students heard from a panel of professionals from institutions in the greater Stockholm area on how to return to Sweden after graduation.

DIS DIS Stockholm Semester

The event began with a chance for panelists to network with DIS students over light refreshments, which was then followed by short presentations.

Panelists included Elisabet Idermark, Senior Advisor of International Relations at Stockholm University; Jenny Enblom, Internationl Relations Officer at Karolinska Institute; and Rachel Weiner, Project Manager at Swedish Institute/Study in Sweden.

Weiner spoke about post-graduate opportunities in Sweden, specifically in the field of medical research, and the advantages of a Swedish university education. Enblom discussed Karolinska Institute, and highlighted it as one of the leaders in the field of post-graduate research. Idermark focused on the sciences, humanities, and law studies at Stockholm University, the largest university in Scandinavia.

Students were eager to hear advice on navigating life after graduation, and left Career Night motivated to learn more on the possibility of returning to Scandinavia.
