The panel, which consisted of several employees from We Love Digital and one member of Psykiatrifonden, listened to each group’s pitch and provided feedback. At the end of the presentations, the guests chose one group whose project was most capable of implementation. The students’ plans varied, from developing social media campaigns as a way to increase donations, to branding products such as bike lights to increase awareness for the nonprofit.
Strategic Communications faculty member Martina Mahnke has worked with We Love Digital in past semesters, and was happy to see another fruitful collaboration between the company and her students.
“It been a great success for all parties involved. The students experienced presenting their ideas in a professional setting, the client, Psykiatrifonden, was inspired by the students’ ideas, and the agency, We Love Digital, was able to actively shape on-going education in their field. I’m really happy that we were able to get everyone working together in such an engaging way.”
The students gained valuable professional insight for their projects and were given the opportunity to hear from real-world experts on how to successfully strategize a digital media campaign. Martina looks forward to collaborating with the company in future semesters.
