The panel consisted of Digital Marketing Manager of Lego, Bettina Johnson, Customer Experience and Profiling Product Manager of Nordea and DIS alumnus, Brandon Mayo, Editor-in-Chief of The Murmur magazine, Peter Stanners, Scandinavian Product Manager of L’Oréal and DIS alumna, Renee Kung, and Senior Creative Strategist of Magnetix, Sandy Bell.
Each panelist spoke for 15 minutes on his or her position, then gave the floor to students for a Q&A session. Among the 80 plus students packed in the classroom, a handful asked questions regarding the challenges of a multicultural workplace, strategizing a Master’s degree after school, and tips for networking while abroad.
International Business and Global Economics Program Assistant Will Sherman, shared his thoughts on the goal of International Career Night. “This event is an opportunity for students to explore and expand their curiosities about working abroad in their future. By working with our experienced and diverse panel to create an open environment, we hope that this event provides information and inspiration to students who might work in Denmark or other places abroad after their academic career concludes.”
When asked about the panel, students said the diversity of positions of the panelists provided a breadth of perspectives on working internationally. Following the panel was a networking session, where students were able to ask more detailed questions.Back to all news
