DIS Attends Copenhagen Relay for Life

Last month a group of DIS staff volunteered at Relay for Life to raise funds for cancer research and those affected by the disease.

Relay for Life is a 24-hour fundraising event which aims to raise money for the fight against cancer, including research and initiatives to improve lives of patients. The international event takes place in 48 locations across Denmark on the same weekend.

In Copenhagen, the relay began with a ‘fighter walk,’ where individuals who have fought cancer led the run. During the 24 hours that the event took place, the DIS team had participants running along the route or taking part in fundraising activities to raise as much money as possible.

DIS was glad to attend and support a powerful cause.
