DIS Students Digitally Promote Copenhagen Conference

Recently hosted by Danish company, Eye for Image, Think International was one of many events this semester that students in the Digital Media in Marketing course worked to promote online.

Among other tasks, the group had an integral role in creating the online platform used for registration. On the day of Think International, students greeted participants at the door, signed them in, directed the crowd, and took photographs. Leah Jereb, project manager of the event, shared her experience (quote is from before the event day):

“We launched the website officially within the past couple weeks, and it was rewarding to see my team’s contributions to the site be published. As the event draws nearer, we are getting excited about a growing guest list and more down-to-the-minute planning. We are also in the beginning stages of developing post-event marketing collateral which will be widely focused on developing Think International’s social media presence.”
