While at the wind farm, students met with the chairman of the Hvidøvre Vindmøllelaug, a small investor cooperative which built, owns, and manages one of the wind turbines in the wind farm. Hvidovre Weekend’s article highlighted the excitement of having DIS students visiting, as they were curious and high-spirited individuals who posed critical and interesting questions. Environmental Philosophy is a new elective course running for the first time this semester. The course questions the ethical implications of modern day lifestyles, and provides a Scandinavian perspective on environmental issues and sustainability in relation to the philosophical question of man’s responsibility towards nature.Back to all news
