The student lounge, lit with candles, had the same signature hygge atmosphere as the first event. This time, on the stage was Sahra da Silva, Ingo Stahl, and new faces, Benjamin Aggerbæk and Frederik Damhus.
Frederik wowed us with one of his new songs that he sang in Danish despite being about to take the song on the road to the U.S. later this month, and Benjamin added something new to the evening by playing the ‘mouth trumpet.’ Ingo brought his Jack Johnson-like style and rhythmic guitar skills, and had the crowd clapping and snapping their fingers throughout the whole set. Sahra brought along a new guitarist, who together played a powerful set list.
The night wrapped up with a surprising twist of events, as all of the artists took the stage to play their final three songs, but this time were encouraged to join in as one jam session. With overlying guitar chords, harmonizing voices, and steady beats from the audience, the collaborative sound was amazing.
