On the panel was Mark Draper, Director of Global Public Affairs at Coloplast, Lana Sukhodolska, International Business Consultant in Sustainable Energy and Resources at DONG Energy, and Sandy Bell, Senior Creative Strategist at In2Media.
All three panelists gave their advice on how to approach the international job market. Sandy Bell introduced the idea of reaching out and networking, insisting to students that “people want to help you.” Lana encouraged students to be curious, take chances, and follow gut feelings. Mark shared his experience of working 15 years in the U.S. Embassy, and suggested that students think of the sacrifices and opportunities presented by working in an international context, both professionally and personally.
After the session, students enjoyed a light dinner and reception, where they networked with the panelists, exchanged contact information, and had the opportunity to ask any pressing questions.Back to all news
